FAQs

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Our venue has ample space to allow for social distancing between guests. Additionally, parties who are not a part of the wedding will not be on the premises during the event.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes, parking is free and available right at the venue! However, we highly encourage that you carpool with other members attending the wedding (of course, if this pertains to a household)!

Question

Will you encourage social distancing?

Answer

Most definitely! Regardless of how many people are in attendance at the wedding, we will make sure that we have masks available in case you forgot yours and that chairs and tables be spaced out in accordance with public health guidelines. Your health and safety is of utmost importance to us and we will take all the necessary precautions. If desired, there is also extra seating throughout the venue to eat/drink separately from the main event area for absolute social distancing and afterwards, you can come back to join the party!

Question

How will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Each person in attendance will be receiving their own individual dinner plate, however, food is to be served buffet style by Lake Oak Meadows venue staff. Alcohol, coffee, and desserts will be served to each person separately.

Question

Are masks required? Will they be provided?

Answer

We highly encourage you to wear a mask both during the ceremony and reception. There may be times when it will be permissible to have your mask off (i.e. during meals, drinking, etc.) but we want to make sure that our guests in attendance will be safe and healthy both before and after our wedding event. Yes - masks will be provided if you do not have one at the time of the event.

Question

Will you live stream your ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be live streaming/recording our ceremony.
