We met in 2022, a few months after Abbie moved to Boston to attend graduate school. Abbie had always wanted to live in Boston, and Matt has literally never left. We hit it off immediately during our first date, which started at a country-themed bar and ended with a trip to Modern Pastry and a walk along the Boston waterfront. In the months that followed, we took frequent day trips around New England to explore the beautiful scenery and find the best restaurants. Abbie helped Matt expand his horizons by being his tour guide during trips to Nashville, Phoenix, and Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Matt took Abbie to her first Red Sox and Bruins games, got her hooked on Dunkin iced coffee, and introduced to the best bar in Boston - Kelleher's. In 2023 we decided to move in together and found an apartment in Roslindale. In October 2024, Matt recreated our first date, and proposed at the end of the Long Wharf in Downtown Boston. We are so excited to continue our story, and are looking forward to celebrating with our amazing friends and family in January!
