Baltimore born, Melissa has lived all over due to her job in Student Affairs. Her job brought her to Georgia, where she ended up meeting the love of her life unexpectedly! A southern girl at heart, Melissa is ready to change her monogram to include Scuderi.

Mike was born in Boston, but has spent most of his life in Metro Atlanta. Mike enjoys to BBQ, creating unique rubs and seasonings. Mike is a huge football fan and shares the love of the game with Melissa. During football season you can find him watching the Atlanta Falcons and cheering on Georgia Tech. Go Jackets!

Father of the Bride

Michael is Melissa's Father. He has shared his love of education and travel with all of his children. Melissa's Dad has made all cross country and interstate moves with Melissa through the years of education and working in Student Affairs. He has finally handed over all moves over to his future son-in-law.

Mother of the Groom

Mike has a little hippie in him and he has his mother to thank for it! Mom's compassion has kept Mike balanced throughout life. After raising four kids, she turned her attention to taking care of his grandparents in their last days. Mom has sacrificed a lot in her life for her family and for that he is forever grateful.

Ashley Nabors

Maid of Honor

The Maid of Honor is Melissa's little sister Ashley. The sisters lovingly refer to each other as "Lilbits" and "Lissa Bear." Ashley resides in Baltimore, Maryland in the house that has been in the family for three generations. Ashley and Melissa both love to quilt that was passed on through their mother.

John Scuderi

Best Man

There is not a greater person to have had to guide, to teach, and to love me more that he has. Mike truly would be lost without his father. There is no other person he loves and respects more than his Dad. Mike says "he truly is my hero."

Sharon Serio

Mother of the Bride

Sharon is the mother of Melissa and Ashley. Sharon passed away in 2017, but is never far away from the world that she left behind through her daughters. There will be a chair left in memoriam at the ceremony and reception to honor her laugh, her smile, and her memory.

Anthony Tucker

Best Man

Anthony and Mike have known each other since Eighth Grade at Lanier Middle School in Suwanee, Georgia and they have been best friends ever since. They have been through all the typical teenage boy antics, both legal and some not so much! Mike knows he can always count on Anthony for anything. Anthony is a great role for his kids and will definitely leave the world a better place than it was when he started.

The best sister, therapist, and friend Mike could have asked for! Mike has always turned to her when he needed advise or a shoulder to lean on. Growing up, Heather always looked out for younger brother. Whether it was talking to the A/C vents as kids or sitting on the porch together as adults, Mike and Heather were always together. Mike truly doesn't know where he would be in life if it was for his big sister.

Mike came into Mike (the groom) life when he was 11 or 12 years old. Boy was he tested! Mike always treated me like his own but was always respectful of his role in my life. He always took time to talk and share life lessons. Mike always puts the needs of other before his own. He is a great protector.

Melissa and Charlie met at Piedmont College in 2018. Charlie was one of the Assistant Directors in housing. Charlie quickly became one of Melissa's close friends in GA and was there from the beginning of Melissa dating Mike. Over the last two years, Charlie has become like a little sister to Melissa and both enjoy getting their nails done and creating new things. Charlie is pursuing her Masters Degree at Valdosta State.

Mike's oldest "little brother." Tim has such a unique personality. People will often say they don't care what others think, but TJ exemplifies it. Tim stands for what he believes in while showing tremendous love for those that are close to him.

Megan and Melissa met at Piedmont College. Megan was once a resident in Melissa's building as well as one of her former RAs. Megan is a beautiful singer an will be singing a song to honor the memory of Melissa an Ashley's mother who has passed.

Zach is Mike's youngest "little" brother. Zach is such a hardworking and compassionate young man. He's got a huge heart that puts others needs before his. Mike has loved watching him develop into the person he is today.
