What Should I Wear?

Whatever makes you feel like your best self! Whether that’s a suit, a dress, something casual, or something totally unexpected—we’re just happy you’re coming. There’s no dress code, so come comfortable and confident. The wedding party will be in a range of colors inspired by wildflowers. So don’t worry about matching or standing out—if you show up in something that makes you feel good, you’ll be adding to the joy of the day. Seeing you there, as your full, vibrant self, will mean the world to us. That’s what we’ll remember most.

Will the Ceremony Be Outside?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be saying our vows outside, right behind the reception hall—so we will be praying for perfect weather! But don’t worry, we’ve got a backup plan! If the weather decides to surprise us with rain or extreme heat, we’ll move the ceremony indoors to Brown City Missionary Church at 8935 E Burnside Rd, Brown City, MI 48416. We’ll keep you updated as the day gets closer so you know exactly where to go. Either way, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What Time Should I Arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony kicks off at 4:00 PM sharp—but we recommend rolling in around 3:30 PM. That gives you time to park, find your seat, say a few hellos, and soak it all in.

Can I Take Photos?

Answer

We’ve hired a professional to capture the day’s special moments, so please put phones away during the ceremony to help us all be present together. Afterwards, we’d love for you to snap photos and videos—seeing the day through your eyes will mean so much to us.
