We're Getting Married!

We first visited Ojai to celebrate our engagement, and it immediately felt magical. It’s hard to describe, but the town has a calm, grounding energy — the kind that makes you want to stay awhile. Part of that magic comes from Ojai’s geography: it’s one of the only east–west valleys in California, which means it gets a full sweep of sunlight all day long. At sunset, the light hits the Topatopa Mountains just right, turning them a soft, glowing pink — a local phenomenon known as the “pink moment.” It’s beautiful, fleeting, and a little surreal. Ojai is a deeply spiritual place. You feel it in the quiet, in the creativity, in the way people move slower here. The food is incredible, the people are warm, and it felt like the right place to begin the next chapter of our lives together.
