It was a night that seemed destined from the start. Work had called me off for a low census, giving me an unexpected night off, so naturally, that led me straight to my favorite karaoke bar. Surrounded by friends and good music, we sang and danced to all our favorite songs, having the best time... That's when I saw Scotty walk in. His presence immediately caught a lot of attention, mine especially. I eyed him from across the bar as he struck up a conversation with a mutual friend. When he walked away, I seized my chance, slipping through the crowd to ask about him. "Who's your hot friend with the tattoos? ;)", and to my surprise, he said Scotty had just been asking about me as well! Without missing a beat, I went to the bar, ordered drinks for the three of us. As I handed them over, sparks flew. There was an instant connection. Like magnets, drawn together effortlessly. From that moment on, we were inseparable. We left the karaoke bar behind, and ventured downtown, not wanting to let the night end. As we drove, Scotty noticed the radio stations I had saved in the Jeep. "Gorgeous, can sing, AND great taste in music!" he said. I teased him saying "Don't go falling in love now..." His response? "Oops, too late ;)" Little did we realize just how right he was!
