We first met at Brown University in the fall of 2013. After first speaking at a Russian Literature study session (that Scott crashed in order to talk to Jessica), we bonded over our shared loves of books, food, travel and animals. We began dating, eventually finishing school, moving to New York and sharing a home together with our fur-babies Leo and Sophie. Since our time at Brown we have cherished our trips back to New England, especially exploring the beaches of Southern Rhode Island. We have gone every summer to enjoy the ocean, clams and sunsets of Narragansett Bay, and Scott knew it was the perfect place to tell Jessica he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. After an afternoon on the beach and sailing around the bay, Scott took Jessica to the rocks of Brenton Point State Park in Newport and asked her to marry him...and she said yes! We are so excited to begin our lives together as a married couple and celebrating our love with all our friends and family. Stay tuned for updates as we begin our planning!
