Forever after all...

Can you imagine meeting your other half while the whole world was going through a pandemic? Yep, that’s our story. We met during the COVID 19 epidemic in March 2021, Scott was living in Maryland while Katherine was visiting Virginia. Two young adults in their 20s were using social media in the right moment when they matched and decided to hang out at a Barnes & nobles while drinking overpriced Starbucks coffee. With no doubt, the best first date of their lives.

Scott proposed in 1 of the 7 wonders of the world, Machu Picchu, Peru 🇵🇪. This is by far, one of Katherine's most exciting stories she loves to tell everyone. Getting proposed is amazing but getting proposed in one of the wonders of the world is a dream come true. Scott was nervous for proposing and Katherine, with no clue of what was about to happen, was worried about Scott who was sick the night before. However, the sky was perfectly clear and blue, Machu Picchu was showing its best angle, and the moment was perfect for saying "yes".

When we first met we weren't expecting a long life together. Katherine was coming from Peru for visiting and Scott was about to graduate from the Naval Academy and move to Pensacola, Florida. However, love was able to break barriers, borders, and nationalities. They both managed to work hard, trying to keep distance as short as possible, with thousands of miles accumulated between them. Struggling through many "good byes" and "see you soons" in the airports, finally, the distance is over and a new life together is about to start.
