2 Wild Poppies Garden Center
Scottie's best friend of 35 years and maid of honor owns 2 Wild Poppies. It is located at the base of the beautiful Ruby Mountains in Pleasant Valley just before Lamoille. Most of the flowers for the wedding were grown at the greenhouse.
The Star Hotel Basque Dining
Scotty Ygoa has been a friend of ours for many years. I (Scottie) bartended at The Star for 6 years in the early days of our relationship. Scotty has been very generous and helpful during our wedding planning! Scotty also owns Salud Events that has provided most of our most of our set up. Katie Kump has been awesome helping us stay organized and on schedule with everything. She is absolutely a wedding pro! We honestly could not have done it without Scotty or Katie's help! Stop in at The Star and have a picon while you are in town.
Machi's Saloon & Grill
John and Kathy Lemich are great friends of ours. Kathy has the unofficial title as "wedding planner" for our big day. Their generosity and love have been a huge help planning and organizing our big day. Stop in and have a "Slim Wickens" while you are in town. Slim Wickens is Scott's alter ego drink. It is huckleberry vodka and soda. He transforms into a different person when he has a few!!!
Evergreen Flower And Gift Shop
Jeff and Tania Kump are the proud owners of Evergreen. Not only are we having our wedding at their house, Tania will be doing the bouquets adding a special touch of Lilacs for Scottie's dad. You will not be disappointed if you stop in and buy a few flowers or gifts!
