If you have any additional questions other than the ones listed here, please reach out to Scottie or Mackenzie prior to 4/13!
Question

"What part of town should we book our hotel in?"

Answer

For convenience, we recommend booking in Tech Ridge (Northeast Austin, near our apartment) or downtown. Downtown Austin is about a 20 minute drive from us, so you'll still be close, while being centrally located!

Question

"Are there any specific hotels you would recommend?"

Answer

Unfortunately, no! While we've lived here for several years, we've never personally stayed in any hotels, so there's nothing we can recommend with confidence. Additionally, we want everyone to be able to book a hotel or AirBnB that aligns with their price point and needs.

Question

"What's the dress code?"

Answer

Both the ceremony and dinner will be cocktail attire. We’re honestly not super strict about it, just wear something you feel good in and that works for outdoor Texas weather. Guys: A button-down is perfect, tie and jacket optional. No jeans. Ladies: Just no white dresses, please - lol. Sundresses are also fine!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

3:30pm! Austin traffic can be a lot, so we recommend checking Google Maps that afternoon and giving yourself plenty of time to get there. IMPORTANT NOTE: It’s easy to Uber or Lyft around Austin, but Chapel Dulcinea is actually in Dripping Springs — outside of Austin — so you’ll need to rent a car or carpool with someone. If you need help coordinating a carpool, please reach out to Mackenzie or Scottie by 4/6.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

March 13th IF YOU RSVP "YES", BUT CAN'T MAKE IT: Please let us know ASAP so that we can communicate any changes to the chapel and restaurant staff.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

While gifts are never expected, they are appreciated! As we begin this next chapter, we are saving for our first home. For those who feel led to give, we gratefully accept monetary gifts via Zelle or Cash App. Zelle: 260-415-3099 CashApp: $kenxieperez (the “x” is intentional!)

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

While we’d truly love to celebrate with everyone, we aren’t able to accommodate plus-ones. That said, they’re more than welcome to travel with you and enjoy the city for the weekend! Also, the names listed on your invitation are the people we’re inviting to attend the ceremony and dinner, which may not include everyone in your household.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’ve chosen to have a child-free wedding, and we really appreciate your understanding. 🤍

Question

I have a food allergy or accommodation, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please reach out to Mackenzie or Scottie by 4/6 at the latest so that we can communicate with the restaurant staff.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There’s parking available at the ceremony, but the restaurant is a little more complicated. If you’re driving, they offer valet for $12, and there are also parking garages nearby (just a heads up, those can get pretty pricey). We highly recommend using Uber or Lyft (Lyft is usually a bit cheaper), or staying at a hotel within walking distance of the restaurant to make things easier!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Nope! There aren’t any other official events planned, but we’d love to hang out with as many of you as possible over the weekend. It means so much that you’re taking the time to come, and we’d love the chance to spend time together and say thank you in person.

Question

What if I have a question the day of the wedding?

Answer

We’ll likely be very busy the day of the ceremony, so our very kind and generous friend, Stephanie Willis, will be stepping in as our “Day-Of” Coordinator. Any comments, questions, concerns, or little hiccups that pop up that day can be directed to her at 713-689-0489. IMPORTANT NOTE: A Day-Of Coordinator truly is just that. She’ll make sure everything runs smoothly and on time and help direct you that day. For anything before April 13th, though, please reach out directly to Scottie or Mackenzie.
