We just wanted to extend a thank you from the bottom of our hearts to each and every one of you for being a part of our story. We love you all so much and would not be where we are today without you. We understand that weddings can be a lot for guests, but please know that we appreciate your support no matter if you are with us that day or thinking of us from afar.
Biggest shout out to Kyle Montanez and to Goodnight Irene's! As junior year of college was over, Brandi and Jeremy were both home for the summer. Brandi was working at Piro's Restaurant in Wildwood and would spend most evenings after work with Kyle. On one weekend in May Kyle invited Brandi over and said that one of his oldest and closest friends, Jeremy, would be joining. We all met up at Kyle's house and headed to Goodnight Irene's for a night out. After that night, we started spending mostly every night of the summer together. That summer was full of so much fun, one unfortunate shrug, many sunset dates- and the rest was history. A fun serendipitous fact- We knew that we met some time in May of 2016, but did not know for sure what the exact date was. When we were creating this website Brandi knew she posted a photograph on facebook of the two of them on the night they met, so she went to find it to find the exact date. Unknowingly- we planned our wedding 9 years after the exact date we met. So special!
On a cold Saturday afternoon Jeremy insisted that the two of us go "somewhere pretty" for an afternoon outside. Despite the temperatures and the on-and-off snow flurries, we drove to Brandywine Creek State Park in Wilmington, Delaware to spend the afternoon outdoors, enjoying the walking trails. We were exploring for about an hour when we passed a little wooden pathway, and that is where Jeremy dropped to his knee and proposed. One of Brandi's oldest friends and bridesmaid, Taryn, works at Queen May Jewelry in Cape May, and helped Jeremy get Brandi's dream ring. It was so special having Taryn be a part of such a special moment in our lives. After the proposal we headed back to the city to enjoy some margaritas and tacos at one of our favorite restaurants. We spent the rest of the weekend snuggling with our cats, watching movies, and celebrating with one another.
