FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. Please allow enough time for parking and locating your seat. We want to make sure everyone is settled in before we say "I do!"

Question

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would like guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers that will be capturing these moments and we would like our guests to be able to enjoy the moment with us! After the ceremony is over, feel free to take photos during the reception and tag us with the tag #MrandMrsBoschee2025

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be all outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, we will have a tent to cover the area needed to continue our celebration. At the end of May in Washington, the weather tends to stay in the high 60's to mid 70's, but always prepare for a cold breeze to join us, just in case! Please help us continue to pray for good weather on our special day.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal to Sunday's Best. From khakis to suits, people who prefer pants are welcome to wear button down with or without jackets, or semi-formal tops. For those who prefer dresses, elegant sundresses to floor-length dresses are all acceptable. For those who like to wear heels, we will be having an outdoor event predominantly on grass, so please do not wear stilettos or kitten heels, unless you would like to aerate their lawn at the expense of your shoes and potentially your ankles.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only planning to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitations. If you received a plus one, it will be detailed on your invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Children are most welcome at our wedding and will be indicated on the invitation. The venue has a small playset and many animals to capture children's attention. For the safety of all, we do ask that all children be supervised at all times. If you have any questions about children's attendance, feel free to reach out to the couple.

Question

What if I forget to RSVP?

Answer

If you have forgotten to RSVP by the requested date, we ask that you consult with the marrying couple. The date cutoff is to allow us to plan appropriately for all the logistics of the day. To avoid missing this deadline, we will follow up with people who have not responded to their invitation to ensure all those who would like to celebrate with us can be accommodated.

Question

Will there be parking at our venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking, and there will be many signs to show you where best to park. For those with mobility challenges, there are special areas for parking that are very close to our reception area. Any one of our helpers on the day will be able to direct you to the appropriate area.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we have a registry on Amazon linked through this website. Please see the "registry" tab on this website. We also have some "honey-funds" that you can contribute to indicated on our registry as well. If you would like to contribute to any of these funds without a processing fee, a check can be addressed to Daniel and Katie Boschee.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When registering for our wedding, please indicate your food allergies and we will do our best to accommodate them. If we have any additional questions or considerations, we will reach out to you for more details.
