Silmara met Vanessa at an NGO where they both worked with refugees. She is the best partner for an adventure and a very good English teacher. "When I met Vanessa shortly after moving to Sao Paulo. It was affection in the midst of madness. She made me feel at home, even in the wild, and I'm so grateful for that friendship."

I met Fred in the Marines. We became friends and have remained friends over the years. We now work together again, and we both made our acting debut's in the same commercial!

Athos and Silmara are technically cousins, but if you've spent any time with them you realize that Athos is more like a brother to Silmara. When he arrived in the world Silmara was a teenager and it was a beautiful process to see him grow up, and become a man of integrity, responsibility and hard work. Lu is now our little sister. They are our example of sweetness and care.

I met Bill in college. We immediately bonded over our love of sports, our similar backgrounds as former Marines, and our studies.

Kezia and Silmara have been friends since they were born. They keep many memories together and share many confidences. "I love that we can be so vulnerable with each other."

Silmara and Kelly were college classmates and soon became a duo. They became neighbors, bike partners, bridesmaid, and much more. "Miuky is my fairy godmother in organizing this wedding. She is a very strong woman, partner, and I have learned a lot about resilience from her."
Raquel and Lelo

Raquel and Silmara became friends when after she moved from Belo Horizonte to Sao Paulo. Raquel is also from Belo Horizonte and so when her friends found out that Silmara was moving there as well, they gave her Raquel's phone number. Since their first phone call, Raquel supported Silmara every step of the way and they have become great friends.

Tati is Silmara's longtime friend and sister in faith. Silmara was her bridesmaid many years ago and we are very grateful to be able to share this moment with her. Despite the distance, we remain connected and always rooting for each other with reciprocal affection.
