Do I need a travel visa to enter the country?

Answer

A travel visa is not required to enter into France. We recommend you double-check your passport expiration date and renew well in advance to allow time for processing.

What's included during the wedding?

Answer

We are delighted to present you with the pleasure of savouring French cuisine and enjoying a comprehensive drink menu throughout the duration of your stay. Breakfast will be served between set hours each morning. We have organized dinners for each night; these are the main events we request your presence at (please see the Schedule for more detail). There will also be a common area stocked with food and drinks that you can help yourself to. And don't forget each room has a full kitchen at your disposal.

All events are open to children and families. If you require babysitting services, kindly reach out to Scott and Sabina for arrangements.

What is the Chateau booking process?

Answer

We have carefully allocated rooms for each of our guests, considering the size of their families. Once you confirm your attendance (RSVP), the Chateau will handle all room bookings and invoicing through email coordination. The approximate cost for each person per night during your stay is €190, with a minimum requirement of 3 nights. Children under the age of 12 will be charged at a discounted rate. Please confirm booking and payment prior to April 1st, 2024 in order to secure your spot.

Can we choose not to stay at the Chateau?

Answer

The Chateau is located in a picturesque rural area of France, offering limited nearby accommodation options. Since we have reserved and privatized the Chateau exclusively for three nights, we extend a warm invitation to all our guests to stay on-site at Chateau de Jalesnes for the entire duration! As an additional treat, we have planned events every day and are eager to maximize our time together with you!

Do I need to bring an iron?

Each suite in the Chateau is equipped with an iron for your convenience.

Do I need to bring a towel?

Answer

The Chateau offers towels for the rooms, as well as pool towels for those who plan to take a swim!
