There is a 40'x60' covered pavilion that will be used for the reception. In the case of bad weather the ceremony will also be held under the pavilion. Yes we will have an open bar with beer, wine, soda and bottled water.
We encourage you to dress casual but classy. Think of camping but a bit fancier. If you are in doubt, just wear what you would normally wear to a wedding. The venue is outdoors so dress accordingly. We recommend dressing in layers and bring a jacket, flannel, or sweater. The temperature is sure to drop after the sun goes down. An umbrella might also not be a bad idea. As the Boyscout's Motto says: "be prepared."
Whispering trees has new indoor restrooms that are ADA certified. They also have electric carts available to help those who need assistance to and from the parking area as well as the restrooms.
While we love children, unfortunately our guest count is limited to 100 people by our venue. We ask that only those children named on the invitations attend. If you are unable to find childcare please speak to one of us and we will try to help. Kids are more than welcome to come to the picnic on Saturday September 3rd.
