We’re getting married!

On a crisp, snowy evening in December I drove north to Polson to meet Libby. Although we had previously talked about nearly everything in regards to ourselves, the world, politics, our families, personal preferences… I was hooked! This was the beginning of some beautiful drives paralleling the Mission Mountains along the way to Polson, on Flathead Lake and some more spontaneous drives for her back home to Missoula. I knew I had to use some charm to keep her around. Thus started some cooking feats in the kitchen, a few fun and fancy dates, and cleaned up my facial hair, the list goes on. Everything between was so natural! Some of my favorite memories were hikes on our snowy Montana hills and rivers with our dogs L.J. (Libby Junior. Yes, she made me change her name) and Cash, our Brittany Spaniel. We spent hours laughing while snowshoeing and skiing our way through the winter. The most memorable day trip for me was a drive that took us to town of Whitefish in early January. We stopped at the Great Northern Brewery then took off for a hike around the lake. It was simply magical, one of those brilliant noiseless winter sunny days. This was the day I knew I was absolutely in love. The love where you start visioning the rest of your life with someone. If you’re still reading this you already know I’m the luckiest guy here. Libby is one of the most passionate people about kiddos and does work that is truly irreplaceable as an elementary school counselor. Her heart is huge and I’m blessed she fell in love with me. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Someone who looks at the world and me with her beautiful loving eyes. Someone whose laugh is contagious and can turn any bad day into a good one. A woman who makes this world a better place with her persona alone. Libby and I are both excited and honored you are in our lives and along for this incredible ride. We can’t wait until the week be of June 23rd to celebrate with all of you!
