'Wedding 3.0' - 'Third times a charm!', 'this time for real!!'

In the fall of 2013 while Scott was partying one night at 'Off the Hookah' in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I was working there at the time. Some happy beats were playing in the club & I was doing my happy shuffle dance not knowing Scott was watching me. I was passing by him & he pulled me over & said "You are quite the firecracker"! He asked for my name but couldn't understand it so I had to repeat it. We stayed in touch after that, as he was leaving to France to start a new job. In early 2016, I was scrolling through my contact list & passed by Scott's picture & realized it had been some time since we last talked. I wrote Scott a message to say hello. He replied VERY promptly, we chatted ALOT and he asked me on a date two weeks later. We have been dating since then and all it took was one date....One amazing date.

After returning back to work to Cap D'Ail, France, we decided to take off for the weekend to La Ciotat, France, where we visited each other back in 2016. In La Ciotat, there is a beautiful hotel that we both love and also enjoy doing a 3 hour hike from La Ciotat to Cassis. On Sunday morning after having breakfast, we started our hike. As we are hiking we started to discuss ideas for a wedding shall we ever have one. While in conversation about same, we reached a spot for a water break. I sat down & as I turned around back to Scott, he was down on one knee. I was in shock & my obvious answer was YES! I am so lucky to have such a thoughtful & loving man in my life.
