Wine Country
Go wine tasting in Sonoma, Santa Rosa, or Napa. Sonoma is closest to Petaluma. Some of our favorite wineries are Cline, Jacuzzi, and Larson Family Wines (which are all relatively close to each other and to the hotels), but there are plenty of others in the area.
Lagunitas Brewing Company
Check out the original Lagunitas Brewery. Great beer, Pub Food, and Live Music. You can also take a tour of the brewery.
Wishbone
Grab Brunch at Wishbone. Just a short drive from downtown Petaluma. It's a super small order-at-the-counter spot, with incredible food!
The Bagel Mill
Looking for a quick to-go breakfast or lunch, and great coffee? The Bagel Mill is the place to go. Just a 5 min walk from The Hotel Petaluma.
Downtown Petaluma
Wander around Downtown Petaluma. There are tons of local shops and restaurants to visit!

The Marshall Store
If you're driving up the PCH (Hwy 1) or just want great seafood for lunch, make a stop at the Marshall Store. A waterfront cafe famous for their Oysters.
Nick's Cove
Another great lunch spot off the PCH (Hwy 1) is Nick's Cove. A waterfront cafe famous for their Fish and Chips.
In-N-Out
Try a burger from the California staple, In-N-Out. It's a great pitstop for lunch or a late night meal, open till 1 am. Laura's favorite is the Double Double Protein Style (Lettuce Wrapped) off their secret menu.
Fisherman's Wharf & Ghirardelli Square
Start your day off on the water at Fisherman's Wharf. From here you can see the resting sea lions, get a sour dough bread bowl full of SF's famous clam chowder, and play some old-timey arcade games at Musée Mécanique (as seen in Princess Diaries). Then walk down to Ghirardelli square for an ice-cream-sunday.
Golden Gate Bridge & Christie Fields
Walk the world famous Golden Gate Bridge or have a nice picnic below it at Christie Fields. For another great view of the bridge, take a walk down the Lands End trail, starting at The Sutro Baths. Be sure to keep an eye out for migratory whales!
Dragon Gate Chinatown SF
Check out San Fransisco's China Town, starting at the famous Dragon Gates. There are some really great restaurants and shops in the area. Did you know the fortune cookie was actually invented in San Francisco? Finish your visit at the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory and then pick up a cable car to go to your next stop.
