Scott and Laura met on a dating application. Laura’s profile picture was of her and Pluto the dog, so Scott knew even before they met that she was a Disney fan. Laura would soon find out that Scott was just as big of a Disney fan. Their first date was on July 3rd, 2018. They met up for a drink and went out for ice cream at Braum’s. On their second date, Laura challenged Scott to a game of Mario Kart and he won! There was an instant connection between the two and they were inseparable. In December of 2018 they took their first trip to Disney World and they both left with Annual Passes. In 2019, they went to Disney 3 more times. In February 2020 on an impromptu trip to Disney World, Scott proposed on their first night while watching the Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. They both knew a wedding at their favorite place would be the best way to start the new chapter in their lives together.
