When should I RSVP by?

It would be SO helpful if we had everyone's responses as soon as possible. Preferably, Feb 1, 2024. Please RSVP on this site.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but the wedding day is an adult only event. Thank you for understanding! Kids can join in for the welcome party on Wednesday, May 15!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding day attire is 'Funky Formal’. What does that mean you ask? Well, if you know us, then you know we love to dress in color, texture and fun prints. We encourage you all to tap into your creative side and get funky with us if you choose! Some ideas: For women-- fun colored dresses, pant suits, fun accessories, etc For men-- textured or tastefully colored suits, fun printed shirts, hats, etc. Please, no costumes :) Here is a link to give you some inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/kellyn76/lets-get-married/funky-formal-wedding-attire-inspo/ The ceremony will be outside in the Redwood Grove and dinner and cocktails will also be outside. Dancing will be inside. We suggest you wear comfortable shoes and steer away from stilettos, as there are some small hills and uneven ground around the property. We also suggest bringing layers, as it will get chilly in the evening, and what better way to style up your outfit than with a fun jacket or scarf! Welcome Party Attire: Dressy casual. We will be hanging on the patio enjoying a taco bar and drinks. We suggest bringing a jacket and layers, as it will get chilly at night.

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride--whites, ivories and creams.

What is the typical weather that time of year?

Answer

The weather in the Santa Cruz Mountains in May is typically moderate 60-70s during the day and cools down in the evening low 50-60's. Plan to bring layers! Layering is a way of life in California. :)

Shuttle Info

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle from the church parking lot to and from the venue and then back to the church parking lot after the after party. For guests staying offsite, you will need to provide your own transportation to and from the church parking lot. You can park and leave your car there for the day/evening.

Can I park at the venue on the wedding day if I am not staying there?

Answer

No. Because of that, we rented the church parking lot down the hill (Address below) for you to park at! From there, a shuttle will take you to the ceremony site. Shuttle service runs every 20 minutes starting at 1:45pm until 3pm and then again from 7:30-10pm. The shuttle will also run for the afterparty until 1:45am. Please consider this in your travel plans. Ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm and we don't want you to miss it! Uber/Lyft are limited near the venue location, so if you chose that route, we recommend scheduling the rides in advance. The drop-off/pickup location will be at St. Peter & St. Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church 9980 Hwy 9, Ben Lomond, CA 95005 Shuttle will be provided to and from the venue

I'm staying in a cabin- anything I should know?

We're so glad you're staying on site with us! We will be hosting a welcome dinner at the Lodge on Wednesday and Thursday morning we'll have a bagel and coffee breakfast. More to come via email once we get the confirmed guest count for on site! Please note- these gorgeous cabins are nicely furnished, cozy and comfortable, but do not have regular amenities like a hotel would have. There are no refrigerators in the room, as well as no toiletries or hairdryer--please pack accordingly! You are allowed to bring whatever food and drink you may want to have on site. We suggest bringing some snacks and beverages to keep in your cabin as well as a cooler for adult beverages if you choose!

Are there any local eateries or markets close by?

Yes! There are some breakfast + lunch spots as well as a local market within 10 minutes of venue. There are also some cute eateries and local shopping in Felton, which is about a 10-12 minute drive.
