What time should I arrive for the wedding?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. Kindly arrive no earlier than 3:15 p.m., but before 3:45 p.m. to grab a drink and find a seat.

Will the ceremony be indoors or out?
Answer
We are planning to have an outdoor wedding with the reception under a tent! You will be walking on grass/gravel around the property so please plan accordingly.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire! Please refrain from wearing jeans.

What color will the bridal party be wearing?
Answer
The bridal party will be wearing various shades of light blue!

What accommodations are available?
Answer
We have reserved a hotel block at the nearest hotel to the venue. Please see the Travel tab for more information. With limited hotel options we recommend getting a group together to get a Airbnb or VRBO. Please reach out to Keiley and Scotty for any questions!

After receiving your formal invitation, please RSVP no later than April 18th!

Can I bring my children or a plus one?
Answer
We would love to invite everyone, however, we ask you only to bring those named on the invitation. Please reach out for any questions! We thank you for understanding!

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
The wedding will take place at the McCarthy Lake House. Please enter the following address into your map/GPS: 5801 Private Road, Mineral, VA 23117. You will turn onto Private Road, which is a gravel road and the entrance to the property will be a half mile down the road on your left. We will have signs posted to help with directions!

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
There will be plenty of parking available at the venue. You will be able to leave your cars overnight if needed.

Are there Ubers or Ride Share services?
Answer
Ride share options in Mineral are very limited, please do not anticipate using Lyft or Uber for transportation.
