What will the weather be like?

Answer

Hard to say . . . it's Colorado in May. This year, it was high of 72 and cloudy. In 2019 is was high of 57 and sunny. . . I'd recommend checking the weather the week of and planning accordingly. It will be chilly at night, it is the mountains. Will there be snow? Maybe. We like to keep things exciting!

How do I prep for the altitude?

Answer

DRINK WATER. We are not joking. Not one bit. Winter Park is located 9121 ft above sea level. For the week leading up to the wedding, drink at least half of your weight (in ounces) in water EVERY DAY. Bring your inhalers if you have asthma. Put some chlorophyll drops in your smoothies. Altitude sickness ain't no joke and we'd rather you be able to dance up a storm than be stuck to an IV in a hospital.

4:15p if you want a good seat. 4:35p if you want to stand.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Everything is taking place at Woodspur Lodge - including accommodations! Call (970) 726-8417 to book a room - we have reserved the entire lodge from Friday-Sunday. If you'd like to have a more traditional (and possibly quieter) hotel we have a block of rooms set aside at the Valley Hi Motel - (970) 726-4171 - located less than a mile from the Woodspur. There are also plenty of other hotels and Airbns in downtown Winter Park, which is less than a mile away.

Will I need a Mask?

Answer

Unless you are fully vaccinated... yes, you will be wearing a mask. We believe in science and safety, and it's our day. If you are showing/having any symptoms of COVID 19 there will be a Zoom session of the wedding you are more than welcome to attend.
