We were teammates together in college on the Tennessee Lady Vols Rowing Team. We quickly became best friends and roomed together our sophomore year. Throughout the years we have been known to show up wearing matching outfits without planning it. Marissa and her entire family have become a second family to me. Even though our adult lives are crazy (she has 4 kids), we always are there for one another!

Becoming friends in college, even roommates for a year, we have stayed close throughout our adult lives. No matter how far the distance we live apart, I know she always has my back!

She is always there to lend an ear, give great advice and always finds fun things for us to do! She is someone who challenges me, encourages me and always has time for me even when I know she doesn’t. Fun fact... she was the first of my friends to meet Scott!
