Let's do this thing!

After a couple swipes right and small talk text conversations about our dance moves, there we were, meeting for the first time at Lucky's 13 restaurant. After having hours of wonderful conversations and horrible luck with Bingo, we walked outside where our vehicles were parked right in front of each other in what was a packed parking lot. Basically, we hugged, we kissed and we've been inseparable ever since!

We planned our trip to Canada after about two months of dating. On our third day there and the day before we were planning to celebrate our one year anniversary, we went for a long drive through the Icefields Parkway in Banff and Jasper National park. It was really gloomy and rainy for most of our drive but the rain seemed to let up every time we wanted to get out of the car and explore. On our way back to Banff and right on the border between Jasper and Banff we pulled over and went for a hike off the beaten path. The sun was shining and we were at the foot of the mountains in a field when Scott was trying desperately to get our GoPro to work. The SD card was full and he had no luck deleting photos so he ended up setting up his iPhone pretending like he was taking a picture. We posed for a minute and then he turned, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
