Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

All wedding events, including the ceremony and reception, will take place at Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico.

Is the resort adults-only?

Answer

Yes. Secrets Playa Mujeres is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort, so all wedding events will be for guests 18+ only.

Can guests visit the sister resort?

Answer

Yes! Guests staying at Secrets will also have access to the neighboring sister resort, Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort, which offers additional restaurants, pools, and activities.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding will take place Saturday evening. We recommend guests arrive by Thursday to settle in, relax, and enjoy the resort before the celebrations begin. Our room block begins Wednesday for anyone who would like extra vacation time in the sun!

Do I need to stay at Secrets Playa Mujeres?

Answer

We strongly recommend staying at Secrets, where all wedding events will take place. Staying elsewhere may require purchasing additional day passes, and we’d love to spend as much time together as possible throughout the weekend!

How do I book my room?

Answer

We have secured a room block for our guests. Please visit the Travel tab on our website and coordinate directly with our travel coordinator, Jodi, to reserve your room!

Are flights included?

Answer

Flights are not arranged through our travel coordinator. Guests should book flights independently based on their preferred travel schedule.

When is the RSVP & booking deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP and book your room no later than January 13th, 2027. We kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible whether you plan to attend so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. We kindly ask all guests to arrive by 5:40 PM to allow time to get seated and settled before the ceremony begins.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wedding attire will be Beach Cocktail Attire! Think lightweight suits or dress shirts and bright colored cocktail dresses or dressy resort wear.

Will events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding events will take place outdoors at Secrets Playa Mujeres. Mexico will be warm, sunny, and humid, so plan accordingly!

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests specifically listed on the invitation.

Should we bring gifts?

Answer

Your presence in Mexico is truly the greatest gift to us. Gifts are not expected, and we are simply excited to celebrate together!

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes. A valid passport and compliant ID are required for travel to Mexico. Please ensure your passport is valid for your travel dates and does not expire within 6 months of your trip.
