We both came to Tucson, Arizona, for school at the University of Arizona, but our paths only crossed with the shared interest of watching Wicked together one day. From the corn and plains of northern Illinois, US, to the rainy tropical weather of Antananarivo, Madagascar, we found each other in the mountainous desert of Arizona. We have grown close over our shared love of food, reading, nerding out, and desire to make a difference in the world. We are still working on building our shared passion for the Milwaukee Brewers (Clara) and desire to tear up the dance floor (Scott). Our love story is non-traditional, spanning cultures, geographies, and climates. We are excited to hold a small and intimate celebration, marking an important first step in our journey together. We also plan to visit as many of our friends and family as possible all around the world to celebrate. It is important to us to celebrate with the people who have supported and shaped our journeys along the way.
