Wedding Party

Tori Mize

Maid of Honor

Chase Tori fresh out of the womb in July of 1999—she didn’t exactly ask for me, but let’s be honest, I’ve been the best thing to ever happen to her since day one. Tori isn’t just my sister. She’s my best friend, therapist, personal stylist, seamstress, makeup artist, hair magician, interior decorator, and occasional life coach (whether I ask for it or not). Honestly, I don’t know where I end and she begins—except I’m the louder one. And no matter how many opinions she gives me (and trust me, there are many), I still ask for them—even if I ignore them immediately after. That’s sisterhood. Even though she definitely would have murdered me if I hadn’t picked her, there was never a doubt in my mind—there’s no one else I’d want standing beside me on my wedding day. Love you forever, sis. Thanks for being my built-in maid of honor, soulmate, and most brutally honest hype woman.

Bryan Staley

Best Man

Scott met Bryan back in 2014 at the legendary Sto-Kent Family Entertainment Center (RIP ), where Bryan had the honor—and burden—of being Scott’s boss. Somehow, despite that power dynamic and an absurd amount of bowling alley chaos, they hit it off. Even after the fall of Sto-Kent (gone but never forgotten), their friendship rolled on—through strikes, splits, gutter balls, and all of life’s ups and downs. From terrible relationships to great rounds of golf, questionable bourbon decisions, and everything in between, they’ve been each other’s biggest fans. Then, in 2020, Bryan met Chase. He had no idea that not only would his best friend marry her, but his wife would also become Chase’s best friend—which means, for better or worse, Bryan can now never escape her. Ever. She’s family now. Bryan, thank you for being the kind of friend who sticks through it all—and for being part of this journey with us. We love you, and we’re so grateful you’re here.

Ray Mounts

Officiant

Ray met Scott in 2014, back when Ray was dating Scott’s older sister, Haley. One fateful night, Haley excitedly invited Scott over for dinner at their apartment so he could meet Ray. She insisted—against Ray’s better judgment—on making Hamburger Helper. Ray, ever the culinary hero, begged Haley to let her cook something else because, quote, “Scottie deserves better.” Despite the boxed dinner, Scott and Ray hit it off instantly—and the rest is history. Ray has been the older sister who stepped up, stood tall, and stood by. Through every high, every low, and every milestone, she's been there—not just for Scott, but for both of us. Chase met Ray a few months into her and Scott’s relationship. Their bond? Let’s just call it... fiery. Chase likes to describe it as “an overwhelming amount of love with just a sprinkle of mutual possessiveness over Scott.” (Okay, maybe more than a sprinkle.) You’ll never hear them call each other by their real names—just “bitch,” lovingly, and with deep emotional nuance only they understand. If you know, you know. Ray has become a cornerstone in both of our lives and in our relationship. We are endlessly grateful that she agreed to be the one to literally tie the knot for us. We love you, Ray. Thank you for everything.

Ashley Staley

Honorary Bridesmaid

Scott met Ashley at the one and only Sto-Kent, where they both worked (hardly) and bonded over life’s essentials—video games, power tools, and most importantly, making fun of Bryan. At the time, Ashley was dating Bryan, so she was just kind of around… until Chase showed up. Chase met Ashley the only way two forces of nature should: at the Sto-Kent bar. Obviously. And that’s when all hell broke loose. Chase and Ashley became fast friends—not over anything particularly deep, just your standard bonding points: mutual RBFs, strong opinions, Mid-Century furniture, white tea shots, and that one time a raccoon literally fell out of the ceiling while they were trying to enjoy a peaceful patio cocktail to avoid watching our men bowl. After a brief falling out and an unnecessarily dramatic (but weirdly effective) reunion plot orchestrated by Scott and Bryan, Chase and Ashley came back together with guns blazing. Since then, they’ve been a duo of chaos and love. If you hear laughter, trash talk, or spot an empty Rita's nearby, it’s probably them. Add alcohol (but not tequila), Mario Kart, a concert in the pouring rain and brutally honest commentary, and you’ve got the full experience. Ashley, you’ve become an irreplaceable part of both of our lives. We’re so lucky to have you in our corner, our circle, and our bar. We love you.

Chris Douds

Honorary Best Man

Scott met Chris way back in 2013, when he first picked up the tuba for Stow High School — because nothing screams “ladies man” like a giant brass instrument. From there, it was all downhill (in the best way). We bonded over tuba duets, video games, golf swings that somehow defied physics, an unhealthy amount of sweet tea, and the infamous waffle fries. Pro tip: if you’re ever around us, do not bring up band camp stories or college party games — you will lose. Spectacularly. We have receipts, and zero shame. Now, here’s where it gets weird: Chris goes and marries a girl named Chayce. Yeah. Chayce. What are the odds that your best friend marries a girl with the same name when that name isn’t even popular?! He’ll try to say he “dated his Chayce first” — sure, dude but I dated mine in 7th grade. That’s the lawless era of relationships. From roasting each other in the hallways to being brothers in every real way, if you saw one of us, the other was lurking nearby — probably holding a tuba or a large sweet tea. Through heartbreaks, hard times, and growing up, we’ve been there for each other. No questions asked. Because that’s who Chris is — the guy who shows up. Doesn’t matter if you’re five miles away or five states away. When you need him, he’s there. With a hug, a joke, or a “brother, I love you.” He’s family — the kind you choose, and the kind you never want to lose (even when he’s roasting you in public).

Lindsey Roy

Honorary Bridesmaid

Chase met Lindsey in 2013 (ish) and let’s just say her first impressions were… concerning. She wasn’t exactly sure what her sister Tori was doing hanging out with this yee-haw, cowboy-boot-wearing, party-loving country girl who seemed to be the complete opposite of the Tori she knew. It was chaos meets structure—and Chase, being all of 13 (ish), was just the tag-along little sister having a meltdown every time she got left behind. But over the next couple of years, something unexpected happened: they both grew up. Lindsey slowly phased out of her “Yee-haw Era” (mostly), and Chase matured enough to realize that while Lindsey's lifestyle back then may have been questionable, her heart was never in doubt. Lindsey wasn’t just fun—she was fiercely loyal, endlessly supportive, and wise as hell. Somewhere along the way, Lindsey stepped seamlessly into the role of co–big sister, and she’s been there ever since. Whether it’s navigating boy drama, fixing a credit score, sharing grocery store hacks, or just being a safe space to vent, Lindsey shows up. Every. Time. Through the celebrations, the setbacks, the deep talks, and the dumb jokes, Chase has always been able to count on Lindsey—not just as Tori’s friend, but as hers, too. Lindsey, thank you for loving us like family from day one. You’re one of the good ones—and we love you for it.

Eric Randazzo

Honorary Groomsman

Scott first met Eric when Scott started bowling back in 2009 at Sto-Kent Family Entertainment during the Saturday morning youth leagues. From the very beginning, their entire friendship has basically revolved around one thing: bowling. Conversations? Bowling. Weekend plans? Bowling. Emotional growth? Probably also bowling. Their bond grew over the years—working together at Sto-Kent, Eric coaching Scott (which mostly meant giving him crap), and eventually bowling together on a travel league team… even though Eric bailed on Scott after that a year. No hard feelings (probably). Any time they’re bowling, you can count on Chase and Eric’s wife Gina nearby—definitely posted up at the bar—either bonding over being dragged to yet another bowling event or talking trash about how this is somehow their life now. Eric has always been like the older brother Scott never asked for but absolutely got. Someone to annoy, follow around, and love like family. Eric’s the guy who never misses a hangout—grilling, golfing, bowling, you name it. If there’s even a hint of a bowling alley nearby, these two will find someone to hustle and then immediately follow it up with, “Three more games?”
