Bird Walk

Join famed bird and wildlife expert Miley Bull for a morning bird walk along the Connecticut River. Spot winter waterfowl, eagles (there is a Bald Eagle nest in view from the dock), Red-tailed Hawks, Peregrine Falcons, Rough-legged Hawks and any other bids moving up and down the river. It’s a beautiful view! Meet at the Essex Town Dock (in front of the CT River Museum at the foot of Main St. in Essex, CT) at 8:15 am. Its an easy walk from The Griswold Inn, with parking available on and off Main Street. There's a great little coffee shop on the way to the dock as well! Please dress comfortably and for weather. Miley will have a spotting scope but feel free to bring a pair of binoculars if you own them.
