Anywhere in the Ponte Vedra Beach or Jacksonville Beach areas are likely best! We are renting through Welcome Home Rentals (info on the travel tab) - definitely check out their options! There are also tons of options for hotels and AirBnB/VRBO in the area. We've put together a few recommended options on the Travel tab. We do recommend booking accommodation early as it can get busy this time of year in the area. Again, if you need help just let us know!
While we do love your kiddo's - we have decided to keep the weekends’ festivities an adult-only affair. We hope you take the chance to come down to Florida and hang for the weekend kid and baby-free!
We will have limited space across our venues for the weekend, so we simply can't afford for all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!
Formal (ish) - we definitely want everyone to come dressing their best (while being comfortable enough to get on the putting green)! Think suit and tie (no need to rent a tux), and cocktail dresses - mindful we will be partly on some grass for a period of the night. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
We will not have any arranged transportation to the ceremony site – we ask that you begin arriving around 4:00pm for a 4:30pm ceremony start. Arriving to The Yards: You will need to go through the Sawgrass Community security gate, which may add up to 10-15 minutes pending how much traffic is going through. To make a long story short – your driver may need to show ID at the gate before being allowed into the neighborhood. It’s a relatively quick process, but given the volume of cars coming in – please plan for an additional 10-15 minutes just in case! (To quote Scott – “it’s a wicked stupid, fake security gate”) We recommend taking Uber/Ride share options – but for those who may want to drive and park, there is plenty of free parking at the venue and cars can be left overnight as long as you pick them up the next morning. Departing from The Yards: As everyone is staying in scattered places around town, there is no shuttle back to accommodations. However, for those feeling up for it, we have a school bus to bring everyone who wants to keep the night going, down to the beach bars for the after party. The bus will be outside the venue to take us to the bar at 10:00PM – and we will venture into the chaos of post-Florida/Georgia Game day fun at the beaches! For anyone who wants to head back to their lodging, we recommend Uber or Lyft.
