What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear garden cocktail attire. Plan for both indoor and outdoor weather as the ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors with an attached outdoor patio.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm, so please ensure that you arrive to the ceremony location by 5:45 pm. The tram will be available starting at 5:00 pm.

Where are the ceremony and reception located?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, located at 1000 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. The ceremony will be held at the Sculpture Park Waterfall, and the reception will be held in the Hauenstein Room located inside the main building.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is located directly outside the main building of the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

As a way to enjoy more time with our loved ones, we will be going out for dinner the night before the wedding, and brunch the morning after the wedding. These are both informal and optional events. Please see the Schedule section for details.
