To our dearest family and friends, First off, Scott and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your special roles in our lives and in our relationship. Your love and support has meant the world to us! We are writing to let you know that we have been having many discussions over the past week in light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, and are saddened to announce that we’ve decided to postpone our wedding. Although a difficult decision, it was also a clear one. As much as we'd love to celebrate with you all in just 36 days, we have envisioned our wedding as a time of closeness, not distance, and want all of the people we cherish the most to stay safe and healthy. We are so grateful that we can do our part to flatten the curve and put our loved ones and our communities first. We are currently working with our vendors and determining a new date for our wedding festivities, anticipating for it to be next spring. That being said, Scott and I still plan to get married in an intimate ceremony with our immediate families within the next month so that we can begin our lives as husband and wife! We trust that God’s ways are higher than our own, and are taking this one day at a time, trusting Him to lead the way. We want you all to know that we are praying for your health and safety and for God’s peace during this time of uncertainty.
