On a fateful near Fourth of July night in 2017, Scotty and Bailey crossed (well, crawled) paths at a themed bar event in Charlotte. Both were rocking the ever stylish and useful fanny pack, and this is all Bailey needed, along with the confident support of her friend - shout out to Elizabeth and Dan- to talk to Scotty first. This initial exchange of words led to conversations at the next stop, grooving at the next, and progressed heavily to showing photos of McFly at the last. Neither knowing that anything would come out of a night at Lucky’s barcade, a week later Scotty reached out to Bailey, and they have been playing the love game ever since.

In the same mountain town, the same tiny cabin, and at the same waterfall they visited on their first full weekend together, Scotty got down on one knee and did the deed. Bailey excitedly said yes only five times as a kind stranger took a video of the unforgettable encounter - with colorful commentary free of charge! The surprises did not end there. Scotty arranged for both families and some close friends to meet them in Atlanta for a post proposal dinner.
