Niagara Falls
If you've never been, cool to check out at least once. We had our first date here on Goat Island. Also, if you ever want a full day of fun, get your passport and go to the Canadian side and find the parking lot towards the top of Clifton Hill. Tons to do: brewery, distillery, fun pass for like $60 per person that gets you on the Ferris Wheel, a round of mini golf, Ripley's Believe it or Not Tickets, etc.
Canalside
First place that we went kayaking together. Decent, walkable park, close to the Sabres Arena and Naval Park, with some decent bars and restaurants. We usually have luck parking in the lot next to the Marine Drive Apartments.
