Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Hotel discount arrangements have been made with the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New Bern Riverfront. Please use discount code 3483259 when booking. Be sure to click "Special Rates" and enter the code provided; then click "Check Rooms and Rates" and discount will automatically be applied.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s) for the wedding and reception?

Answer

We will not be providing guest transportation to and from the hotels for the wedding and reception. Both our ceremony and reception will take place at Amelia Grove and there is parking available on site. Ride share services i.e. Uber and Lyft are available if needed.

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal/dressy-casual.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be alcohol at the reception available for purchase with card or cash.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. For the reception, any and all extra videos and photos are welcome.
