What is the dress code?

Answer

It’s Ohio in November, so the weather is unpredictable. It could be 65 degrees and lovely or it could be 37 and rainy. We suggest preparing for all weather conditions and wear what you want. Tuxedo T-shirt and short cut offs? Go for it. Full tuxedo with tails, top hat, and a cane? Be our guest. Our only request is that Amanda is the only one in a white-ish dress.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re registered on Zola and Amazon. We really need a new meatloaf pan and really want a manual, cast iron juicer.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We have the ceremony location from 4-6 and are requesting that our guests arrive around 4. The ceremony should start around 4:30 under the pergola by the fire place. If it’s raining, we’ll have the ceremony in the gazebo or the chapel.

What’s happening right after the ceremony?

Answer

Since we’re winging this whole thing, we have a few things happening right after. There’s going to be a dessert and toasting beverages in the gazebo or the chapel after the ceremony. We’d also like to get photos with our guests around the ceremony location. Our reception location, El Parian is about 20 minutes away in Lancaster. The restaurant will be ready for our guests around 6:30 with the fajitas bar starting around 7.
