One of our favorite upstate restaurants. Excellent choice for Friday night dinner. ~10 minute drive from Urban Cowboy.
Phoenicia Diner
We love it here. Awesome spot for Saturday/Sunday breakfast/lunch, especially for those staying at Urban Cowboy or Shandaken Inn. Some items are better than others, and we recommend the Pancakes :)
The Pines
Dinner option, Upstate vibes, great margs and rustic eats think solid burgers, steak frites, Caesar, etc.
Oliver's at Howland House
Dinner option: We haven't been yet but heard good things, local British pub-inspired local's eatery.
Margaretville
Great town to visit near Urban. Nice shops and restaurants.
Blue Bee Cafe - Near Venue
Scott and Alexis fave. Brunch/Lunch for those near the wedding venue. The best waffles, salads and cookies in the game.
Hollow - Near Venue
Great coffee/breakfast sandwich spot for those staying near the wedding venue. A bit of Brooklyn meets Upstate vibes,
Cafe Mutsi - For anyone staying at Andes Hotel
Cafe Mutsi is an all-day cafe & wine bar in the heart of Andes, NY with a focus on local, organic bounty and an affinity for Nordic flavors. ‘Mutsi’ is a Finnish slang for mother, and the colloquial term captures our hospitality: nurturing yet jovial, meticulous yet charming.
Bella Michael's Restaurant - Mickey's Spot (Out of the way)
If you are looking for a true upstate, Mickey Chernoff experience :) ... OG family style Italian. A bit out of the way for those staying at Urban Cowboy, but had to leave it on for die hard Mickey fans.
Woodstock or Kingston
Any adventurers who want to make a Sunday Funday out of their trip back, check out Woodstock or Kingston. Both super cute towns with a lot of great shops, restaurants, bars. For food in Woodstock, we love Silvia's and Good Night. In Kingston a favorite is the French Bistro, La Canard and Yum Yum Noodle Bar for a more casual bite.
