🎬 Blind Date: Destiny Edition—How We Met🎬 Blind Date: Destiny Edition—How We Met

Unscripted. Unseen. Unstoppable… because the best love stories aren’t planned—May 19, 2023

🍿 Love in 4DX They weren’t looking for love — just a good movie night in 4DX. Kimberlyn was zipping through the halls of Criss Cole in her powered wheelchair, Scott was trying (and failing) to catch up, and fate decided to roll the opening credits. A classmate stole the seat next to her, but Scott still offered his jacket in the rain and kept checking on her through the movie. The real plot twist came afterward — a conversation in the lounge that never really ended. From hallway run-ins (“we need to finish that conversation”) to late-night phone calls and study sessions, the story kept writing itself. By July 29, 2023, they made it official — two souls who couldn’t see each other at first, but who were clearly meant to be.

⭐ One Ring. One Plot Twist. One Yes: He held the box, I heard my full name, and suddenly the script of our lives changed forever—October 8, 2024

🍿 Lights, Ring, Action She thought she was just going home early to shower before dinner and ice cream with Scott and his mom, Ms. Dolores. Instead, when Kimberlyn rolled into her apartment, balloons and flowers were already waiting — and so were they, whispering like co-conspirators. Dinner out (not their usual takeout favorite) and Amy’s ice cream kept the cover story going. Back home, Scott handed over gifts — including the Blind Barbie she’d hunted for a year. While she admired it, Scott spoke her full legal name, and she froze — instantly pulled from the gift to the moment. He guided her hand to a small box so she could feel it; then he opened it to a bright light spotlighting the ring. Months earlier, in July/August, Scott had casually called Kimberlyn during what seemed like a normal conversation. What she didn’t know was that he was standing in a jewelry store, secretly checking her ring size. When he joked about a size 7, she reminded him it was too tight and that she wore a 7.5. He laughed and played it off, but behind the scenes he had the jeweler resize the ring to fit perfectly.x When he proposed, she placed her hand on his chest and asked in disbelief if he was sure — reminding him he once teased about waiting 3–5 years while she’d said 2–3. He laughed and told her, “I am not waiting that long to marry you.” Then he slid the perfectly sized ring onto her finger, and her answer was absolutely yes — the perfect surprise and the beginning of forever.
