UPDATED 8 SEPTEMBER: Currently, Dane County is requiring everyone - regardless of vaccination status - to wear masks in public spaces. Should this change, we will update our policy, but you should plan to need a mask.
Children who can sit quietly through the ceremony (which should be about an hour) are absolutely welcome. If you have a child for whom that is a large ask, please let us know - the church has a daycare room and we have the church's permission to hire a babysitter for the ceremony. At the reception, absolutely! One of the great things about our venue is that there's a grassy area outside that children can run around in, and the space itself is child-friendly.
We ask that you dress up a little - about business casual (or fancier if you prefer). We also ask that you bear in mind that the ceremony will be in a Catholic Church, and ask that you dress appropriately for the space. (If you have questions about what's appropriate for the church, please ask!)
We understand completely that some people have ... contentious ... relationships with the Catholic Church (or religion/Christianity in general). If this is a concern for you, please reach out - we're happy to talk about it with you. We don't want any of our guests to be uncomfortable.
