We're big ol' nerds and love lots of things that fall under the umbrella of Sci-Fi (Science Fiction for you not in the know). Think, "what would my favorite sci-fi character wear to a wedding?". If that's not your thing, you can just wear a fantastic formal outfit. Struggling with ideas? Reach out to us: justin.amelia1212@gmail.com
Lean more formal than casual, while still feeling comfortable, confident, fabulous, and thematic. Lean into it with exciting accessories and fun fabrics. Dress like you're from the future or maybe a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
-All colors are okay! Bold colors, metallics, color-shifting, dark colors, light colors. Yes even white (just don't wear a literal wedding dress and veil). -Nothing dystopian or gory. -You can be as broad or specific as you want. Anything from "this looks kinda sci-fi" to "I wanted to dress like a Starfleet officer, so I ordered this uniform online because I love Star Trek" is acceptable. -No body paints and no heavy scents (perfumes, colognes, etc)
This is an adults-only event, meaning kid free, ages 21+. We aren't planning on making exceptions. If you're planning on bringing your kiddos for other west coast adventures, please let us know and we can provide local options for childcare during our event.
Please exercise extra caution as you travel/exist leading up to the wedding. We love masks and are cool with folks wearing them at the events. We get our super cute ones from MaskLab. If you aren’t feeling well, please don’t come.
We want everyone to be care-free and party, and we recognize it’s nearly impossible to completely avoid “political” conversations. This space will not be tolerating the following: homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, anti-abortion, fat-phobia / diet culture, anti-immigration, etc. If you bring these attitudes to our wedding, you will be redirected/corrected or even asked to leave.
