Yeah, we confess: we made "brunch cocktail" up. In our minds, "brunch cocktail" implies somewhere between formal and casual. We recommend a cocktail dress for the ladies and a suit and tie or a sport coat for the gents.
Unfortunately, no. But uber is a great way to get around in Berkeley if you do not wish to take the public bus that travels from downtown Berkeley to the Brazilian Room. The bus cost $2.25 per adult (cash/change only). Please see the Travel tab for more information on AC Transit Line 67. We did not do a hotel block at any select hotel because we know that a good number of our guests will likely stay across the bridge in San Francisco. When looking for areas to stay in, we recommend 1) Berkeley or 2) San Francisco. The bride and groom are staying at 'The Graduate' (Berkeley). The bridal party will be staying in an airbnb in North Berkeley. The parents of the bride are staying at the 'Rose Garden Inn'. Feel free to email/text the bride or groom for hotel suggestions!! We seriously don't mind at all.
There is ALWAYS traffic in the Bay Area. ALWAYS. Plan accordingly if you don't want to have to pull a Dukes of Hazard move into the venue's parking lot at 10:29am.
