Question

What does open house style mean?

Answer

This celebration is open-house style. This means you can stay for a quick "hello" or stay for as long as you would like. Since buying our house, we have done so many projects that we would love to show you. We plan to set up our house in a way that allows you to see what we have done and what our plans are. We also plan on ensuring you have opportunities to be immersed in our wedding celebration as much as possible. Although we got married in an intimate ceremony in March, this October celebration will bring the extended family and friends into our wedding festivities and memories.

Question

What are the plans?

Answer

There are no set plans. We just want to mingle and create memories. We have a ping-pong table that will be out, so a tournament will likely occur at some point. We also have a foosball table. We will have a few other yard games. We have plenty of seating outside and inside. We will have a few things connected to our wedding that you can participate in.

Question

Do I need to bring anything?

Answer

Nope. It will probably be hot, so a hat is recommended. We have a lot of space outside that we plan on using for guests.

Question

Is this a pool party?

Answer

Although we have a pool and invite people to put their feet in, we feel taking a splash will be too much for the number of bodies that will be coming in and out of the house. Please make a plan to come visit for a pool day! We will have towels to dry off your feet.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

There will be snacks and drinks provided, but we would recommend having a good breakfast/lunch before coming over. We have some spots to try out under "things to do."

For all the days along the way
