Our story began exactly like you would expect it, at a Michigan-Michigan State tailgate. A mutual friend had let Jenna know Drew wanted to talk to her. Plot twist: he got cold feet. However, he later received a second chance when they ran into each other at a bar. Drew broke the ice by telling Jenna she looked confused... probably because she was wearing both green and blue. Despite the bad pickup line, something clicked. Jenna took initiative and asked for his phone number. One ice skating date later, and Drew knew she was the one. For Drew and Jenna, falling in love was exactly how you would hope. For them, the adage they had heard their entire lives rang true. "When you know, you know." Two years later, Drew planned to propose at the aforementioned ice rink. Unfortunately, his plan and time spent practicing to kneel on skates went out the window after they arrived to find an unexpected Ice Festival had occupied the rink. Despite the chaos, they managed to find a moment alone on a hill overlooking the rink. After repeatedly asking if he was serious, Jenna finally said, "Yes!" We couldn't be more excited to spend the rest of our lives together and are so grateful for the love and support we received along the way.
