We're getting married!

We first met in middle school at a bowling alley near our houses. Over time we became friends and by sophomore year, we started dating. I planned the first date by asking for a Disney movie marathon at his house. A few weeks later Alex asked me to be his girlfriend in my car at a stop light on February 6th, 2016. Throughout high school we were able to experience homecomings/proms, state championships, and going on adventures up to Alex's family cabin. After high school, we decided to do long distance throughout our 4 years of college. Alex would drive 9 hours one way to be with me on the weekends. He has always been my biggest cheerleader watching my games online and supporting me throughout the waves of the season. While in Nebraska we would only get to see each other once every 3-4 months. We would spend hours FaceTiming on the phone. Once I transferred to Minnesota we would see each other once a month and were able to get to spend more time with friends and family. Since I got to live my dream of playing college basketball and Alex always supported me I wanted Alex to live his dream too. Alex decided that Colorado was the next place he wanted to live. He was offered a job opportunity that offered to pay for his relocation and I moved out a few months later. We now love going on new adventures and we have both fallen in love in Colorado. February 5th we went on a beautiful hike in Rocky Mountain National Park and went to Emerald Lake. Once we got to the top Alex proposed and it was one of the best days of my life. This is only a snippet of our story, but we are so excited to see where life takes us and for you to be a part of that journey.
