We're Getting Married!

Our story begins on a blind date! We met at the AMC Theater in Ardmore, OK to watch the movie Escape Room. I had the most handsome date in the room! James is such a gentleman and the sweetest man I have ever met! Fast forward through some adventures and on March 17th, 2021 James and I signed our lease for our first home together! While at our apartment he told me he wanted to make the day one I would never forget 😃 He was down on one knee and asked me to be his. Of course I said "YES! TODAY AND FOREVER!"

A friend and coworker told me she knew someone she thought I would really like, so I said ok, lets do it! Now after that, I was so nervous, a million scenarios went through my mind, I was now terrified. We met at the theatre parking lot and walked in together, and my worries were gone. She is perfect! Our interests line up, our personalities were so compatible. After the movie (it was a little cheesy, perfect first date movie) came the actual escape room i reserved, silly me. Neither of us had ever been in one and we were confident in our detective skills so we took on the hardest one. We got about 75% through. My friend who was watching (he owns the facility), was impressed with how incredibly fast we were progressing, he thought we might set a record. We did not. I was a little frustrated because we didn't finish, but she was so graceful in admitting that it got the best of us. We may have lost the escape room, but we both won in the end - we were now completely confident that we belonged together. I am so lucky she said yes, and I’m looking forward to the rest of our life together, I’ve got her, so I cant lose.
