Brooklyn Museum
A dope art museum within walking distance of Schuyler & Andy's apartment. Schuyler took some of her first art classes here as a child, and before the pandemic you could find Schuyler & Andy at all of the museum's First Saturdays.
Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Right next to Brooklyn Museum, the Botanic Garden is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon checking out the seasonal flora and fauna.
Prospect Park
The Central Park of Brooklyn! A great place for a stroll or a fall picnic. Schuyler & Andy have spent countless warm weather weekends here with their friends, and would 100% recommend a visit.
Brooklyn Bridge Park
Schuyler & Andy's favorite spot for sunset wine and cheese picnics, with beautiful views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge.
Industry City
Close to Schuyler's parents' apartment, Industry City is a historic shipping, warehousing, and manufacturing complex that has been converted into restaurant, bar, and event spaces. Spend an afternoon here sampling food from the many restaurants, grab some drinks and hang in the courtyards, and catch awesome flea market and record pop-ups if you're lucky!
The Green-Wood Cemetery
A national historic landmark and resting place to baseball legends, politicians, artists, entertainers, and inventors, Greenwood Cemetery is a great destination for our fellow history nerds and folks with morbid curiosities.
Barboncino Pizza
Schuyler & Andy's favorite neighborhood pizza spot. An important distinction is that this is brick oven pizza NOT the famous New York pizza!
Roberta's
Another amazing Brooklyn pizza spot, which Schuyler & Andy would eat at much more often if there was an easier way to get from Crown Heights to Bushwick on the train. Roberta's is a good option if you are staying closer to the wedding venue!
Mo's Original
Another one of Schuyler & Andy's favorite neighborhood restaurants with great ramen, strong cocktails, and lots of outdoor seating.
Midwood Flats
One of Schuyler & Andy's favorite bars, a short walk from their first apartment together. Some might say they chose the apartment for its proximity to Midwood Flats, and they spent many weekend brunches and weekday laundry nights there. Midwood has an extensive beer and cocktail list, and one of the best burgers you'll ever eat.
Brooklyn Brewery
A classic Brooklyn staple! Have a Brooklyn Brewery beer right from the source in the tasting room, or take a brewery tour.
Threes Brewing Greenpoint
Schuyler & Andy have been to Three's Brewing's Gowanus location, and can confirm that their beers are delicious and their options are extensive! The Greenpoint location is a 7 minute cab ride from the wedding venue for folks staying in the area.
Greenpoint Beer & Ale Co.
A 10 minute cab ride from the wedding venue, this brewery has a roof deck!
18th Ward Brewing
A 5 minute cab ride and 10 minute walk from the venue, this brewery has a tap room, comfort food, to-go cans, and sometimes live music!
Greenwood Park
A great option if you're looking to spend an afternoon at an outdoor beer garden, and very close to Greenwood Cemetery if that's also on your list of things you'd like to do! Greenwood Park also has TVs to catch fall sports and some outdoor games like cornhole.
Franklin Park
The pandemic knocked it down, but it got back up again! Franklin Park has been one of Schuyler & Andy's go-to bars since they first started dating. Great beers and cocktails, food from the attached Dutch Boy Burger, and a beautiful outdoor space, Franklin Park has it all!
Bagel Pub
Any New Yorker will tell you that we have the best bagels on the planet...and we would be right! Try these famous NY bagels at Schuyler & Andy's favorite spot. With plenty of bagel and cream cheese options, Bagel Pub is the perfect cure to the hangover you're likely to have on Sunday.
Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop
Classic, cheap, and delicious donuts, and a historic staple of Greenpoint! Grab a dozen of these beauties on your way out of town, or you might even see them make an appearance at the reception ;)
