Matt and Meg knew each other as local winery “competition” long before they settled their feud over which Sour Patch Kid flavor (red) was the correct tasting note for a Dry Riesling. Having originally met through a wine tasting event, it’s only fitting that these days they often muse about their future over a glass of wine; eventually deciding to take the leap after a full afternoon of exploring international wines while on vacation. While in the Bahamas in early 2026, Matt mentioned he had planned to propose on the trip, admitting he had no ring yet, which is why he didn’t jump at it. Meg assured him she’d marry him with any of her rings she’d worn on vacation, then and there. With the things they had on hand, he got on a knee and proposed. After much celebration and the rest of vacation, they returned home to a relaxing dinner and down time. Quietly, Matt returned to Meg with a ring, getting down on a knee and proposing again, proving to Meg that he was, in fact, serious about this adventure. A love that grew around a couple of vineyards, now firmly planted to nourish and grow for a lifetime. Matt has proudly encouraged Meg’s educational success in wine, and together, they thoroughly enjoy exploring the world and history by the bottle. We’ve designed this evening to feel relaxed, warm, and full of connection. Come early, stay late, and enjoy every moment with us. Cheers, friends!
