We first met in April 2020 while both living in Columbus, OH. Megan was wrapping up her senior year at Ohio State and Alex had started his post-grad life. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we made the most of it with creative (and often makeshift) COVID dates - tennis, bike rides, and haircuts to name a few! When restaurants finally reopened, we celebrated by going on our first official date at Marcella’s in the Short North. Soon after our relationship began, our careers took us different places - Alex moved to Chicago and Megan headed to North Carolina. We dated long-distance for two years, and then Megan made the move to Chicago in 2022 to begin our next chapter together. Now, we’re building our life together here and excited for what’s ahead!
