FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception are on uneven, grassy and gravel terrain - comfortable, easy to walk in shoes are recommended. All wedding events will take place outside so although the mountain air is cooler than most places, it will be warm! Please keep all of this in mind as you pack for our big day.

Question

Will I have cell service in the Nantahala area?

Answer

This is a remote area and there is limited cell service. Most rentals will have their own networks and there will be wifi available at the ceremony and reception areas. While traveling between town, your rental and the ceremony/reception areas, there will not be service so we encourage guests to be aware of this as you commute anywhere in the area.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We are still working out the kinks of getting our guests to and from the venue safely! Please check back in closer to our wedding date for further details.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invited children are named on invitations. Due to guest number restrictions, we are only able to invite children of close family to our wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All invited guests are listed in your RSVP.

Question

Who can help me locate lodging for the wedding?

Answer

Please consult our Travel page, or reach out to Sarah's Dad at pschutes@me.com with any specific lodging and Nantahala area questions
