Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail attire. There is a gravel hill to reach the ceremony area, so consider shoes comfortable for walking.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions in your RSVP.

Question

Will I have cell service in the Nantahala area?

Answer

This is a remote area and there is limited cell service. There will be multiple wifi networks at the venue- we encourage taking note of the password now (Password: floatabovetheclouds). Our guest have access to the venue wifi for the duration of our wedding weekend. Most vacation rentals also include their own internet access.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invited children are named on invitations. Due to guest number restrictions, we are only able to invite children of close family to our wedding.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a van service available on Saturday May 30th for guests staying at rental properties near the lake/venue. To arrange a pickup from your rental, email Katherine's dad (pschutes@me.com). Van service after the wedding will stop at midnight.

Is there another option to celebrate if I am unable to travel to Nantahala?

Answer

Yes! We would love to have our out of town guests join us in Baltimore for an alternate reception in August 2026. We will share formal details for this event at a later date.
