Getting to New Canaan

New Canaan is just 40 miles northeast of New York City. Guests traveling from out of state may be able to find reasonable flights into regional airports like Westchester County Airport or Tweed New Haven Airport, but landing at LaGuardia or JFK will work! Renting a car from the airport and driving will get you to New Canaan the quickest, but Metro North also stops a short distance from Waveny House and the hotels listed here are off the New Haven line. A transfer may be required, likely at Stamford, but you can find travel details on the MTA's website: https://www.mta.info/
